Garden Green Garbanzo Bean Hummus
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients
10 whole oz bag of cooked Garden Green Garbanzo Beans (available at Foods)
1/2 Cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 Cup + 2 T olive oil
1/4 Cup + 2 T tahini
2 T fresh garlic, chopped
2 T water
1/2 T Celtic sea salt
Combine all ingredients in food processor and enjoy.
Farmer’s Market Raw Almond Hummus aka Cilantro Chili ‘Bitchin Sauce’
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Serves 4
3/4 c. raw almonds (soaked overnight)
3/4 c. + filtered water
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. grape seed oil
1/4 c. lemon juice (about 1.5 lemons)
3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. bragg liquid aminos
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. coriander
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 handful fresh organic cilantro
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients in VitaMix. Slowly blend for one minute. Turn the dial up to high, and continue to blend for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and creamy.
Store in the refrigerator or freezer. Sauce may separate so just stir up when serving.
Avocado salsa
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 Avocado’s, cubed
1 tomato, diced
1 can black beans
2 limes, juiced
1 red onion, chopped
1 bunch cilantro
1 t cumin
½ t salt
½ t pepper
Combine all ingredients and enjoy.

Island Spiced Almonds
1 cup almonds
1-2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 tsp pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp pink salt
1 tbsp shredded coconut, unsweetened
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
juice of 1 lime
Mix all ingredients together and bake at 375 for 5-6 minutes. Toss almonds and then return to oven for another 5 minutes or until golden.
Holiday Spiced Nuts
2-3 c raw nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts, pecans)
1 egg white
1/2 t chili powder
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t allspice
1/4 t ground cumin
1-2 t cayenne pepper
1 T maple syrup
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F and grease a baking sheet. Beat egg white and add spices. Stir in nuts then spread over baking sheet. Drizzle with maple syrup and bake for 20-25 minutes until nuts have browned, tossing halfway through.
